Hart had been in a daze, not quite asleep, but about as close to it as he got. The room was dark, not exactly warm and he was in a cage and chained to the bars. Falling asleep wasn't easy, especially because of the collar around his neck that always ended up choking him.
So of course he missed whatever gentle noise Cisco produced. However, the door that was blasted off its hinges actually crashed against his cage and that was certainly enough to jolt him awake. He looked around as best he could, his clothes bloody and his face showing various stages of bruising. His glasses were skewed, but he was still wearing them, which helped him when he tried to identify whoever was intruding.
He knew that voice, but it couldn't be. Maybe he had fallen asleep. Maybe he was dreaming. Hallucinating. He hadn't eaten in a while. "Please--" He interrupted himself to clear his throat. His voice sounded hoarser than he wanted it to, there wasn't much reason to speak here. "Please, go, before Zoom finds you." Whoever this was.
