Leonard doesn't get a chance to say anything before Lisa reaches for him, "Mickey!" She barely waits for Mick to even get a grip on her, clasping her arms around his neck and tugs herself over to him. "Daddy got mean but Lenny 'tected me." she explains, burying her face in Mick's shoulder. "It was scary."
Leonard shares a look with Mick before slipping inside. Doesn't matter much in the neighborhoods they live in, but he locks the door behind him anyway. "Thanks for letting us crash," he says, a little stiff, a little awkward, because how do you really show appreciation for someone being an escape like this anyway. "We'll have to leave early, before he'll be up, but," he shrugs one shoulder. His arms are folded across his chest and he's the picture of shut down and closed off, but that probably isn't much of a surprise, all things considered.
