They didn't get nights like this often. Lisa was at a friend's for the night and Lewis wasn't dragging Leonard out on some half-assed job again. Mick had the night off and had agreed to meet him at a bar just around the corner that never looked too closely at IDs or ages as long as you didn't start stirring stuff up.
He'd gotten off his shift early, grabbed a shower and headed for the bar to wait.
Which is when a guy at the bar starts chatting him up. Cautious at first, but the chatting quickly becomes flirting and Mick.. doesn't push him away when he lays a hand on his wrist, he doesn't stop him when he shifts closer. Mick might be hopelessly in love with Leonard, but he's also human and it's been a long damn time.
And he's pretty sure Leonard only sees him as his friend so what's the harm in flirting back? Not that he's any good at it but it's nice. Maybe he'll get lucky if Snart winds up bailing on him.
