The shove surprises him, and there's no hiding that 'what the hell?' etched into his features for a second before he schools everything again. There was a time when something like that would have gotten a visceral recoil, stepping back, shrinking into himself-- but back then, Mick never would have dared to do this, either.
But they aren't who they used to be, and though it shocked him, the taunt strikes something else in him, too. He shoves him back without a word, seamlessly sliding into throwing a punch aimed toward Mick's jaw.
