Mostly because Leonard doesn't know anything about it, it sounds problematic at best if he personally wouldn't be able to move, and there's always a lingering curiosity to how it might effect Barry. He isn't too keen on the guy running himself into the ground for him, even if it does end in something highly in his favor.
