That would be Sara announcing herself with another blanket and another pillow, in the doorway of the newest bedroom on her ship. How long is still questionable, but protecting each other like family, including each other's family is what The Legends do. Time can be a bitch, but time doesn't get to touch any of theirs any more than it already has to.
"Sometimes it can take a little getting used to Gideon systems." And she doubts Mick's thinking about anything like that about this point.
Becky's standing in the middle of her new room, hands on her hips, kind of just surveying the place. All of this is so weird. She's still not sure she understands any of it. She's not sure if she needs to, either, though.
She turns at the sound of the voice behind her. A small, grateful smile slides onto her lips. "Thanks," she spins and crosses the space to take both items from her. "Sara, right?"
"Yeah. Unless someone switched the nametags this morning--" It's an easy enough smile Sara gives the girl. Congenial, with a side of conspiratorial friendliness. "--but we usually save that for a day or three after we get new people. It's far more confusing when you think you've gotten it all down right."
You know. Unlike finding out someone has been hiding a sister for say three (and however many Time Master) years.
Becky doesn't really know what happened, or how she ended up on this bed in this weird, futuristic hospital looking area that definitely didn't sound like it was attached to an actual hospital-- there was a distinct lack of general hospital buzz outside the room she was in for it to be.
As she takes in her surroundings, she lands on a man towering in the doorway and tips her head a little. Something about him is so...familiar, in a way she can't quite put a finger on. "Hi?" If it sounds more like a question than a statement, it's only because she's super confused, here, bucko. "Are you a doctor?" He doesn't particularly look like one, but looks don't mean much.
Mick couldn't hurt more if someone had shot him clean through with that question. God she's impressive. He'd bet good money she could take him if he came at her swinging.
"No. No. I'm.. " a breath. A moment to try and swallow past the lump in his throat.
She frowns, small at first, but increasingly deeper as she continues to stare at him. And her breath catches in her throat. Time marked its way on him and she hadn't seen him in so long, it's easy to have not put it together at first. But now that he's said it, it clicks, and she sees it, him in that face staring back at her.
"Mickey?" She frowns and sits up slowly. "Oh my, God." She slides off the edge of the bed and marches over to fling her arms around his neck. "I never thought I'd see you again," she mumbles quietly into his shoulder, squeezing her eyes shut against the tears threatening to well up in her eyes.
He still kept tabs on her, same as Snart did for his sister. Watched her grow up, watched her get a degree and help kids who had lived in shitty situations just like they had. Even going as far as sending her money when he had it, or donating to the shelter she worked at.
She doesn't punch him. Instead she's throwing her arms around him and Mick closes his eyes, folding his arms around her. "Yeah. Yeah it's me Becks. 'm here."
Becky just stays there, clinging to him for a little while, trying to wrap her mind around all of this. But eventually, the shock wears down a little and she pulls away, swiping her hands under her eyes and stepping back to really look him over.
And then she punches him. A sucker punch right to his chest, "You asshole!" A hard shove at his shoulders next. "Where the fuck have you been all this time?" And another. "Why didn't you come find me when you got out?! You knew where I was!"
Okay. He had that one coming and Mick takes the punch with a grunt.
"You were in a good place. I wasn't. Bouncing in and outta jail, you didn't need me screwing up your life." He fiddles with his jacket. "But I kept tabs on you. Made sure you were safe. Okay."
"You wouldn't have screwed anything up." She counters, arms folding harshly across her chest, eyes narrowed in a glare at him. "Mary wouldn't have let you." Mary Johnson was the kind of tiny woman you didn't cross because she was fierce and the kind of woman you never wanted to disappoint. And saying her name is strange these days, because she's been 'Mom' for so long.
"Oh, good, you were stalking me, that makes me feel better." There's no real heat to the remark, though she's definitely annoyed about it. "This doesn't look like jail, so...what else have you been doing with your life?" A beat. "And where are we?"
Mary Johnson was a tiny force of nature, but Mick still would have found a way to screw it up. To mess things up. It was just what he did. Bounced in and out of jail. Ran with crews until he screwed things up. Ran with Snart until they'd fight and spin away from one another for a while.
"You had a normal life, Becks. A good one. You didn't need me screwing it all up. I got a record longer than your arm."
Now here comes the hard part. Explaining the Waverider and the fact that her crook of a brother was on a timeship. Trying to be better than what he'd been. "No, no it ain't jail. It's the medical bay of a time ship."
She levels him with a look, one that says he's an idiot--and not for the reasons he always thought when they were kids, either. "I needed you to be around, ya dummy."
"A what?" Her face scrunches in confusion. What weird sci-fi flick speak is he talking?
"'m here now." Because he can't make up for past mistakes. Not on the level that he'd made with her.
"Time ship. C'mon. I'll show you." The silver door behind him slides open with a whisper. "It's the Waverider. Gideon's the AI that runs most of the ship, just ask and she'll help you out."
"Yeah...I guess you are." But that begs the question of why. Why had he suddenly appeared from nowhere, inserting himself in her, as he put it, good and normal life? She doesn't understand. Why the sudden shift? A thought grips her and makes her heart skip a beat or two. "You're not, like, terminal or something, are you?" Because how would that even be fair? To have him delivered back to her only to be ripped away again so soon?
She tilts her head and follows him out of the room. "Time ship." She echoes, still not following that concept. She startles a little at the sudden voice. "Oh, it talks. Okay, that's weird. Hi...Gideon?"
An anachronism had threatened his sister and Mick and Leonard had all but threatened to hijack the ship if they didn't speed to her rescue. Becky might not remember what had happened and that was probably for the best. Her question gets a furrow of his brow before shaking his head. "What? No. No I'm fine."
I can assure you Miss Rory that Mister Rory is in ideal health.
Mick pulls a face at Gideon butting in again. "Time ship. We protect time, try and keep people safe."
That's right Becky, your crook of a brother somehow found himself as part of a team defending all of time.
"Oh, okay. Good." She seems to relax a little at that, maybe doubly so at the confirmation from the ship's computer. Even if that's still a weird thing, all things considered.
"You...protect...time." She echoes, slowly, trying to even make sense of that sentence. She tips her head a little, "I'm not following." The whole idea is a lot to take in when a person has no real references to time travel being real, or anything weirder than metahumans running amok in Central City.
"Yeah. Time travel, it's a real thing. I'll.. I'll show you the ship," he offers. Maybe if she gets a look at it, at the time stream, Mick can explain it without tripping over his words.
"Me and Leonard got talked into joining a crew a couple years back. Save time, save the world, change everything." A shrug. "Course Snart couldn't resist." And naturally he followed.
She nods a little, "Yeah, okay. That sounds perfect." Getting to know the new surroundings is definitely a good plan. Especially if she's going to be here for awhile-- and from the sounds of it, that's true.
She walks with him and listens. She notes the way he talks about this guy, this she should know who he is, but...Becky didn't get to keep tabs on her brother the way he, apparently, had done on her. "Who's Leonard?" Whoever he is, he sounds important. Like someone Mick really cares about, so Becky decides, already before meeting him, she cares, too.
"Met him in juvie.. after." A pause because after carries too much weight to simply dismiss it. After the fire. After he'd been taken away from his sister and begged her to hide her real name so she could have a normal life.
"Been part of my life ever since." He steers them towards the main bridge where she can get a look at the time stream.
It.. isn't something he likes to watch anymore, too reminded of years as Chronos, but it does tend to hammer home the point that yes time travel exists to any new passengers.
"Really?" She can't fathom her brother having a friend for so long-- he sort of didn't have many of them when they were growing up. Most of the boys didn't, actually. Too many stories about the Rory's floated around for anyone to want to stick around pretty much any of them too much. "Well, when do I get to meet him?" She grins, utterly jazzed at the idea of meeting this guy.
She stares at the map of time once they're on the bridge, just sort of in awe of the entire thing. "Wow...that's...weird. And cool." She notices a piece of it that looks different, almost like it's highlighted for some reason and points at it, "What's that?"
She might even be joining some kind of team soon. Still trying to decide what she wants to do, but I think an extra-curricular would be good for her. I'm glad I could help. It's awful how stuck kids feel in these situations.
[She doesn't really get into it, except sometimes with the kids who's cases she's managing because it gives her an in with them, a level of understanding most people can't have, but she knows exactly how that feels, first-hand.]
Are we allowed to know what kind of team she gets on? Just...updates? How have you been? I imagine you're probably buried underneath all of the paperwork.
[Caitlin doesn't know how the system is first hand but she knows that she wouldn't want Frankie in the system. Not after all she had gone through. Caitlin's heart went out to her and she knew...she knew that Becky would've found the perfect home.]

Mick's brain keeps tripping over it like somehow if it keeps circling it'll somehow make sense.
His little sister.
Alive.
He can't quite process it as he stands near the doorway to medical as she comes around. Becky. His fierce and strong and bright little sister.
