Once that pressure of the witches magic was lifted she started to free her self pulling the wood that had been driven through her shoulders to pin her out.
The huntress in her zoned in on where the witch had ran toward, wanting to chase her down and rip her throat out. She knew better than that. Whatever had stopped the spell might not be something that would last forever after all. She turned her eyes to Kol. She closed the distance between them which wasn't much, putting her arms around him hugging him. I'll be okay. Are..you okay?" she asked into his ear.
"I'm okay. I'm fine," he mutters, his arms wrapping protectively around her. "Are you? You sure?" he squeezes her tight against him.
He feels it too, the pull to go track her down and pull her spine between her teeth, but the risk doesn't feel like it outweighs the reward right now. All he needs is Hayley, safe, and alive.
She nods still not letting him go. " You..you came for me.." she said her voice uneven. She was still so used to being on her own as far as when she hit the fan. It was still something else to her when someone cared enough to stick their neck out for her.
" She could have killed you, and you still came." her arms tightening more around him. " You could have died." it was then her voice actually cracked even if she was trying to sound like she was giving him hell about it.
