Echo is sick and i dont know what to do

What's wrong?

I don't know my vet's not in and I'm not a vet but she's sick

[trickedya]

Give me her symptoms.

She didn't eat yesterday, but she gets like that sometimes, but she doesn't want to eat today either. And she's just not moving much, I whistle at her and she only looks at me, but she's not coming to cuddle or play.

about an hour and a half later

hows her breathing?

Normal. Flat, maybe?

I'm not sure, I had to pull her out of the corner and it scared her, so now she's breathing faster.

check her breathing if it's struggling then it could be pneumonia get back to me fast ok?

I think she's struggling. I don't know. Maybe it's just that I'm struggling.

okay so I have anti-biotics and some vitamins, i'm going to head back out of here, consult a vet and I'll swing by soon?

I'm talking to this vet, he's a little pissy cause apparently he's not fond of threats or me breaking into his house

He's told me which to take in case but it could just be depression

Axel came fumbling through the window and landed with a heavy thud, scampering across the place until he found Hartley. He came over to him and dropped to his knees, pulling all the medicine from his pocket and presenting it to Hartley. "This is if it's pneumonia so we can hold off on that one but these two you can give her and this one here is just vitamins."

All of the medicine was there for Hartley to use as Axel leaned in and looked at the poor girl. "Hey buddy, you okay?"

"I'll try to make her eat them." Hartley read the information in the medicine while Echo opened her eyes at Axel and sniffed in his direction, but didn't actually move. It was a contrast to how she usually immediately greeted any newcomer, especially if she knew them already. Right now she didn't leave Hartley's hand. "I should have taken her to the vet yesterday. It's my fault."

"It's not your fault. Read the medicine and learn how it works, I'm too dumb to know that stuff." Axel dismissed as he reached out and very gently took Echo from Hartley. It took some doing, Hartley was obviously resistant to him stealing away his sick ratty but Axel thought Hartley would be better handle that side of things and he could comfort her. "Hey, Echo. I'm sorry you're sick." He carefully stroked her head as he watched Hartley.

Hartley looked over to watch Echo nuzzle Axel's thumb, relieved that she was at least still affectionate. He rubbed his face before pushing his glasses down again and focusing on the medicine. "I guess the vitamins definitely can't hurt, I'm just not sure if we can get her to eat anything. She has been like this all day."
